PVC - our PVC is REACH compliant and used extensively in commercial and industrial environments.
Rivets, Screws, Eyelets, Press Stud Bases - our metal parts in direct contact with the skin are products tested at source of manufacture by a laboratory and given a 'pass- compliant' mark in accordance with BSEN1811:2011+A1:2015 standards. They can be designated as hygienically safe and do not pose the health risk associated with spontaneous release of nickel.
Note: Persons allergic to nickel may show a reaction even if nickel is not released from a product. However, these products carry a much lower risk of an allergic reaction, in any case.
Metal Buckles, Spikes, Padlocks, Mounts, Decorations - these items contain nickel. The style of the design means that although these do not have direct contact with the skin but we advise wearer caution if a nickel allergy is present.
Earrings - our ear wires/hoops are made of sterling silver, silver plated brass, gold plated brass, antique gold plated brass, ion plated stainless steel. All decorations/hangings, see "Pendants."
Pendants - Lead safe, nickel safe and cadmium safe zinc alloy metals, plastic charms, acrylic cabouchons.
Chains - Our chains are either plastic, aluminium or silver plated brass.
Crystals/Pearls/Beads/Drops - we use Preciosa Crystal (glass) and various glass rhinestones and drops. Our pearl beads are lacquer-coated glass.
