Safety Testing:
- Nickel release: Meets REACH and BSEN1811:2011+A1:2015 standards.
- Cadmium content: <0.005% (REACH compliant).
- Lead content: Conforms to EU Regulation 836/2012.
SAFETY WARNINGS
- Prong Jewellery is not a toy. Keep away from small children (under 36 months) due to small parts & potential choking hazards.
- Necklaces/Chokers/Posture Collars: Chains may pose a choking or strangulation hazard, especially if they become caught on objects. Always wear necklaces with care and avoid situations where they could snag or entangle.
- Earrings: Persons allergic to nickel/other may show a reaction even if nickel is not released from a product. Stop wearing if any signs or irritation occur.
- Prong Jewellery is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Great care and love is involved in creating your Prong, and we want it to give you years of enjoyment. Here is a list of care instructions to enable you to get the most out of your jewellery and accessories.
- Keep your Prong shiny with silicone spray or PVC dressing.
- Polish your Prong with a soft cloth.
- Avoid prolonged periods of exposure to sunlight and direct heat sources.
- Silver findings on your Prong can be polished with a silver cleaning cloth.
- Do not immerse your Prong in silver cleaning liquids unless the entire item is silver - this may damage the material.
- Clean your Prong by wiping with warm soapy water and a soft cloth - do not totally immerse as this may damage the material.
- Prong ties should be stored flat where possible, as folding or rolling could damage any motif or design.
- Do not wear your Prong too tight - it puts extra stress on any rivets and could ultimately damage your jewellery.
- Treat your Prong with love - it is jewellery, and therefore, delicate.

MATERIALS
Industrial Rubber - Black Premium Soft Grade EPDM Rubber 50° shore, Black Commercial Quality Neoprene/SBR insertion 70° shore
- Meets ASTM D 2000 M2 DA509A26B36C32G21
- REACH, RoHS, PAH and CE compliant
PVC - our PVC is REACH compliant and used extensively in commercial and industrial environments.
Rivets, Screws, Eyelets, Press Stud Bases - our metal parts in direct contact with the skin are products tested at source of manufacture by a laboratory and given a 'pass- compliant' mark in accordance with BSEN1811:2011+A1:2015 standards. They can be designated as hygienically safe and do not pose the health risk associated with spontaneous release of nickel.
Note: Persons allergic to nickel may show a reaction even if nickel is not released from a product. However, these products carry a much lower risk of an allergic reaction, in any case.
Metal Buckles, Spikes, Padlocks, Mounts, Decorations - these items contain nickel. The style of the design means that although these do not have direct contact with the skin but we advise wearer caution if a nickel allergy is present.
Earrings - our ear wires/hoops are made of sterling silver, silver plated brass, gold plated brass, antique gold plated brass, ion plated stainless steel. All decorations/hangings, see "Pendants."
Pendants - Lead safe, nickel safe and cadmium safe zinc alloy metals, plastic charms, acrylic cabouchons.
Chains - Our chains are either plastic, aluminium or silver plated brass.
Crystals/Pearls/Beads/Drops - we use Preciosa Crystal (glass) and various glass rhinestones and drops. Our pearl beads are lacquer-coated glass.
IN THE EVENT OF ANY IRRITATION REMOVE THE JEWELLERY IMMEDIATELY.
