Care of your Prong

Great care and love is involved in creating your Prong, and we want it to give you years of enjoyment.  Here is a list of care instructions to enable you to get the most out of your jewellery and accessories.

• Keep your Prong shiny with silicone spray.
• Polish your Prong with a soft cloth.
• Avoid prolonged periods of exposure to sunlight and direct heat sources.
• Silver findings on your Prong can be polished with a silver cleaning cloth.
• Do not immerse your Prong in silver cleaning liquids unless the entire item is silver - this may damage the material.
• Clean your Prong by wiping with warm soapy water and a soft cloth - do not totally immerse as this may damage the material.
• Prong ties should be stored flat where possible, as folding or rolling could damage any motif or design.
• Mirror foil is NOT METAL. It is delicate and will mark if not handled with care. When not wearing your mirror Prong, keep it safe in the packaging provided.
• Do not wear your Prong too tight - it puts extra stress on any rivets and could ultimately damage your jewellery.
• Treat your Prong with love - it is jewellery, and therefore, delicate.
